For starters, I've updated Raziya's full body sprite for cut scenes. During cut scenes, the characters will appear on the far sides of the screen like in Project X Zone. They'll only appear from the knee up though.
I was inspired by the art in Langrisser V because a friend of mine who goes by KiddoCabbusses was playing it on his Twitch stream. So I shined up the detailed giant sprites more so it can look more like a mid-late 90's game as this is supposed to be a 90's throwback.
Most of the work has been just prerendering Raziya's model into an 8-directional walk cycle sprite sheet She still needs more commands like jumping and dashing and attacks.
First, I made a simple model of her in 3DSMax.
So then I animated her,
On top of that, most of the work I've done has been the music. I've made so much I could have made an earlier blog, but chose not to because I'm weird and because I wanted to show more than just experimental music.
You can take a look here in this Google Doc as long as you drop the tracks in WinAmp or Groove Music because Google Docs always skips the first two seconds. Why did I drop this in google Docs anyway? Because I'm weird and I ran out of space on my Soundcloud. Maybe I should stream the tracks through WinAmp? Hmm. Maybe.
So that's that, onto making more stuff! Wish me good luck.
